Approach to painting/image making
I feel that over time this process of image making echo the ongoing shifting and shaping of ones thoughts and constantly refresh ones understanding of the world we inhabit along with fellow creatures and life forms with whom we share this precious planet.
The beauty and powerful presence of the marks and scars left by the passage of time, along with the visual representations of the universal connectedness of the original people of the land, strongly influence my work.
By drawing and painting, I hope to add to the way we can perceive, or look and relate to the world and our place amongst the starts.
Through visual explorations rekindle the open-spirited visual portrayals and stories told over time within the brief time we spend on our home planet.
To keep our birthright of pure childlike wonder alive.
